"Ever thought about starting a golf podcast?"

Yep, that's how it happened.  After a few months of preparation and research,  The Back of the Range launched its first episode on January 3rd, 2018.  The mission has been and always will be to highlight the achievements of the best amateurs in the game of golf through entertaining interview-driven episodes.

With over 250 hours of published audio content, The Back of the Range has established itself as one of the most trusted sources on long-form content focused exclusively on amateur golf.

In August 2020, the USGA invited me to serve as their social media content provider during the U.S. Amateur at Bandon Dunes due to on-site staffing restrictions related to COVID-19.  During this championship, it became apparent that there is an interest and market for in-depth coverage of the best amateurs in the world.

In the last two years, The Back of the Range has provided photography, videography, and social media management services to clients such as the USGA, the Western Golf Association, Maridoe Golf Club, the Jones Cup Invitational, Stanford University and Seminole Golf Club.

We are thrilled to partner with clients who share our main objective:
the promotion of amateur golf at the highest level
